RN ICU/PCU

Job Summary:

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in ICU/PCU settings. The Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing care, including patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The role demands strong communication, clinical expertise, and at least 2 years of relevant experience to ensure high-quality patient care in a critical care environment. Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments in ICU/PCU settings.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes promptly.
• Provide case management and support for critically ill patients.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital, home health, or hospice care.
• Clinical assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced critical care environment.
• Driver's license, car insurance, and automobile for field work if applicable.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Experience specifically in ICU or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing.
• Additional certifications related to critical care nursing (e.g., CCRN).

Special Considerations:

• Must meet Low/Mid/High performer expectations; contract termination if performance standards are not met.
• Work environment includes ICU and PCU settings requiring critical care expertise.

Scheduling:

• Shift assignments may vary; typically includes day, night, or rotating shifts in ICU/PCU.
• Shift schedules determined by facility needs and staffing requirements.
