This is an exceptional executive leadership opportunity for an accomplished physician leader to shape the future of Family Medicine and Primary Care within one of the nation's largest integrated academic health systems.

As Chair, you will provide strategic leadership for Family Medicine while helping drive the continued integration and transformation of Primary Care across the Jefferson enterprise. Working alongside executive leadership, physician leaders, and Thomas Jefferson University, you will influence clinical excellence, physician engagement, education, research, and innovation throughout the region.

Executive Leadership Opportunity

As Department Chair and Regional Primary Care Leader, you will:

• Establish the strategic vision for Family Medicine and Primary Care throughout the Jefferson-Lehigh Region

• Lead the continued integration of Primary Care across the Jefferson Health enterprise

• Partner with executive leadership to advance quality, access, operational excellence, and population health initiatives

• Drive physician recruitment, engagement, mentorship, and succession planning

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement

• Champion physician wellness while supporting sustainable clinical growth

Academic Leadership

Play a key role in advancing Jefferson's academic mission through:

• Oversight of Family Medicine residency and fellowship programs

• Faculty development and mentorship

• Undergraduate and graduate medical education

• Research collaboration through Thomas Jefferson University

• Expansion of scholarly activity and innovation

• Development of future physician leaders

Operational & Clinical Excellence

Lead one of the region's most respected Family Medicine departments by:

• Advancing evidence-based, patient-centered care

• Improving access and care delivery across Primary Care

• Developing innovative clinical programs

• Establishing measurable quality and operational performance goals

• Collaborating with Pediatrics and specialty service lines throughout the health system

• Supporting technology optimization and digital transformation initiatives

Qualifications

• MD or DO

• Board Certified in Family Medicine

• Eligible for Pennsylvania medical licensure

• Minimum of five years of progressive physician leadership experience

• Demonstrated success leading physicians, clinical operations, education, and strategic initiatives

• Commitment to academic medicine, physician development, and transformational leadership
