Mortgage Closer (GPO)

TEKsystems is currently searching for candidates interested in a Mortgage Closer opportunity with a Fortune 100 Financial Institution in the Pensacola area!

Job Description:

• To close first mortgage loans in accordance with applicable federal/state laws as well as the credit unions' policies and procedures.
• Prepare mortgage packages for delivery to settlement companies for purposes of closing on conventional, Veteran's Administration (VA) and Federal Housing Administration (FHA) mortgage products.
• To coordinate the closing and funding of assigned loan packages.
• Authorize release of closing packages to closing agent.
• Ensure credit, underwriting and property conditions have been satisfied prior to closing
• Pay: $18.44/hour

Requirements: 

• High school diploma/GED required
• Prior banking or experience working in real estate or for a financial institution is preferred
• 2-3 years of recent strong administrative work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data entry
• Must be able to work independently
• Must have high speed internet to work hybrid (fiber or cable service)

Hours: 

• Monday - Friday 
• Training Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm
• Schedule After Training: EITHER 8:30am – 5:00pm OR 10:30am – 7:00pm. You must be open to both shifts, you will not be given your shift until after training
• This is a hybrid role which will require you to be onsite 3 days per week.
