Auxiliary Operator

Responsible for performing all tasks related to the efficient functioning of the Auxiliary packaging equipment. The Auxiliary Operator is a member of a High Performance Operating Team and is required to function within that team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate, troubleshoot, adjust, repair, and maintain equipment (coders, conveyors, case tapers, and the Santi-Mix system) to get maximum performance and efficiency.
• Pack and palletize finished product.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Processes (cGMP).
• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality of product.
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of process.
• Perform administrative duties.
• Must certify through all 3 phases.

• Associates have a direct and important role in ensuring that all work is performed in a safe manner. Effectiveness in carrying out this responsibility is part of each associate's essential accountabilities.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent High school education or GED, plus 1 year related experience and/or training, preferred. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

MUST BE ABLE TO READ AND WRITE THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Starting pay at $17.60hr day shift, $17.60hr night shift with $1.00 shift premium. Quarterly bonus up to $1,200.00 before taxes
