Industrial Maintenance Technician

The role of a Plant Maintenance technician is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities.
The main missions of the role are to:
Install, repair and maintain all equipment

Maintain Facilities equipment as required

Analyse mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections to maintain maximum production and quality

Propose and implement continuous productivity and quality improvement actions for all facilities and processes for efficiency

Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance / completion of PMs

Continuously improving knowledge base

Maintain clean and safe working environment in line with company policy

Adheres to all work rules and procedures

Adheres to the Code of Ethics

Adheres to the Code of Management

Additional reponsibilities include:
Actively particpate in work teams

Implement at least six improvement idea per month

Other duties as requested

Job Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications:
Technical dipolima and/or journey man card or 5 years minimum experience

Adjustment of robot programs as required / Training provided

Perform tasks of substantial variety/complexity

Strong Electrical troubleshooting and mechanical repair skill set

Hydraulic and Pneumatic troubelshooting required

Working knowledge of Quality systems and Health, Safety and Environmental systems

Strong technical problem solving skills

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills

Satisfactory company work record, including attendance

Successful completion of Faurecias in-house training programs

Ability to follow instruction verbal and written - good math, language and reading skills required

Good communication skills demonstrated by the ability to communicate with employees of all levels

Forklift/Sissor/Boom cerfication – successful completion of Franklin certification trainings

Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team and in a positive manner

Valid drivers license

Physical Requirements: Job involves lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, exerts 25 to 100 pounds of force occasionally to move objects

Requires pushing, pulling, reaching, standing, walking, gripping and bending

High mental and visual effort required

Able and willing to work overtime as required. Flexibility to help on other shifts when needed

Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per year
