Operating Room Registered Nurse

The Operating Room Registered Nurse will work primarily in the OR but may float to day surgery, endoscopy, PACU, and holding areas as needed. The candidate is required to have advanced life support certifications. Floating to other units may occur based on patient care needs. Experience with a variety of surgical procedures is essential. Candidates must have the ability to handle diverse patient demographics. References from previous manager or charge nurses within the last 2 years are necessary. Candidates must live within 100 miles of the facility or request approval to travel from 75-99 miles away. All required certifications must be valid and obtained from recognized organizations. Documentation of skills and prior work history is required for consideration. This position requires adherence to safety and infection control protocols. Professional growth opportunities may be available within the organization. The role involves coordination with interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient care. Candidates must be prepared for a potential change in patient ratios depending on unit needs.
