Are you an experienced, detail-oriented mortgage loan processor who can successfully aid applicants in navigating the mortgage lending process? If so, we are looking for you! We are currently seeking a skilled and high-producing mortgage processor to work with the mortgage loan officers on our team. $60,000+

Responsibilities:

• Ensure loan files meet lending and regulatory guidelines and policies
• Assemble and submit loan packages to the lender underwriters for approval or denial

• Review loan applications and supporting documents for accuracy and completeness

• Communicate directly with borrowers, loan officers, and third parties to collect required documentation

• Submit complete loan packages to underwriting

• Clear conditions and follow up on outstanding items in a timely manner

• Ensure compliance with lending guidelines and regulatory requirements

• Order and track third-party services (appraisals, title, insurance, etc.)

• Prepare files for Closing Disclosure and Clear to Close

• Maintain organized and updated loan files in CRM and LOS systems

• Provide consistent status updates to all parties involved

Qualifications:

• Accounting, finance, or business Associate’s degree preferred - High school diploma or GED required

• Minimum 2–3 years of mortgage processing experience

• Strong knowledge of loan programs: Conventional, FHA, VA, Non-QM (DSCR, Bank Statement, Foreign National)

• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines and documentation requirements

• Experience with LOS systems (Arive) 

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills

• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

• High attention to detail and problem-solving ability

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
