Machinery Maintenance Technician I/II

We craft high‑quality precision electrical contacts that serve mission‑critical equipment worldwide. Summary Clean, lubricate, maintain and repair production machinery and equipment. Levels LevelI – Entry level, following procedures for cleaning and lubricating production machines. LevelII – Intermediate, disassembles, inspects, cleans, repairs or replaces damaged parts of production machines or equipment. Essential Job Functions Knowledge of production equipment and machine maintenance procedures. Maintains machines, inspects filters and tubes, and ensures machines have coolant and lubricant. Reads and interprets drawings and machine maintenance instructions. Records production repairs and machine maintenance information; follows instructions on maintenance work orders. Performs end‑of‑shift duties, oil recycling, material separation and housekeeping procedures. Knowledge and Abilities Interprets written and oral instructions, works collaboratively to resolve work issues, basic shop math skills. Forklift certification preferred but not required. Effectively communicates in English. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED preferred; previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Physical Demands Must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, have good eyesight, hearing, hand dexterity, and be able to identify and distinguish colors. Work Environment Exposed to noise, moving mechanical parts, oils/solvents, fumes and odors that may affect the eyes, ears, nose, throat and/or skin, within safety guidelines.
