Wire & Design Engineer Level 3

Are you a seasoned electrical design professional with a passion for precision engineering and innovation? CTS International is seeking a highly skilled Wire & Design Engineer (Level 3) to join our client’s team. In this dynamic role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex wire harness systems and electrical assemblies used in cutting-edge aerospace and high-tech environments. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to impactful engineering projects while working with some of the most advanced tools and technologies in the industry. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs
- Analyze results and perform design reviews
- Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas)
- Provide engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests)
- Document processes, specifications, and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities
- Develop basic statements of work
- Participate in technical reviews of supplier capabilities to facilitate source selection
- Analyze functional and physical input to ensure development of complete integrated designs
- Work under general direction

- Some experience with wire routing design
- 5+ years of relevant experience
