Nuclear Medicine Technologist / PET Tech

This is a 13-week contract position.

Shift: Day 4x10-Hour (08:00 - 18:30) with variable start times between 07:00 and 09:00. Rotating weekend shifts required, with call responsibilities post-shift and possibly on weekends.

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist with PET experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens equipment and prefer to work in a dynamic acute care environment. This position will primarily involve performing PET scans and general nuclear medicine studies.

Responsibilities:

• Performing PET/CT scans and nuclear medicine studies.
• Utilizing Siemens imaging equipment effectively.
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation through Epic charting.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and discussions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience required.
• 6 months of PET experience preferred.
• Licensure: Must hold ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification with a valid California license.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Siemens nuclear medicine equipment strongly preferred.
