Advanced Practice Provider - APP - Neurology

Neurology ICU NP or PA Opening at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital. Please include cover letter of interest with application. Job Details Direct Inpatient care in the high acuity NeuroICU. Work with a nationally recognized team of neurocritical care physicians! Join three (3) other NeuroICU APP's. Round in the NeuroICU and perform procedures. Teamwork, critical thinking and empathy are all top skills needed for your success. Shift rotation of three (3) daytime 7a-7p per week OR three (3) nights 7p-7a per week. Seeing an average six (6) patients during dayshift or covering entire ICU during the night shift with support from attending neuro intensivists, once onboarded. Shift rotation anticipated at 75% days and 25% nights. Cover three (3) weekend days per month once onboarded. Anticipated 3-month onboarding for ramp up; will provide onboarding course from Neurocritical Care Society. Practice in a state-of-the-art facility. Minimum Requirements Must have Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification or Physician Assistant Certification Must have experience as a NP or PA with line placement and intubation.
