Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology program
• Valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
• Active state licensure (or eligibility)
• Previous experience in a cath lab or similar imaging environment preferred
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and monitoring vital signs during cardiac procedures
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures
• Operate fluoroscopy and specialized imaging equipment to produce high-quality images
• Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols, radiation protection guidelines, and infection control practices
• Monitor patients' vital signs and provide assistance to ensure comfort during procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation related to procedures, equipment usage, and patient records
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure optimal patient care
