About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Corporate Communications to lead and execute strategic communication plans that align with the company's mission. The successful candidate will be responsible for public relations, social media, and employee communications, with a focus on advancing business objectives and enhancing the company's reputation. This role requires a proven leader in corporate communications, with a strong understanding of the business, and experience in working with diverse stakeholder groups. The VP will be a trusted advisor to the leadership team, including the Co-CEOs, and will be instrumental in shaping the company's brand and marketing strategies. Key responsibilities include developing and leading a comprehensive communication strategy, establishing collaborative relationships, and being a passionate storyteller about the company's mission. Candidates for the VP of Corporate Communications position at the company should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and 12-15 years' of related experience, with a focus on leading external communications for significant B2B or B2C brands, or in the technology sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate communications, including financial and investor relations, and a track record of success in a high-growth, complex environment. Experience in a senior communications role within a multi-stakeholder public company, particularly at an NYSE or NASDAQ listed company, is essential. The role demands an individual with excellent leadership, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to manage high-profile issues and crisis situations. A background in pharma, biopharma, or diagnostic communications is a plus, and the candidate should be adept at using social media and have a keen understanding of the influencer environment.
