Required Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, and at least 1 year of recent experience working as an RN in an acute care setting within the past 12 months. Additional certifications or continuing education relevant to ICU nursing are preferred. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing or related field; professional certification in critical care is highly desirable. Additional Information: The role requires the ability to respond quickly and effectively to emergent patient needs, utilizing proper body mechanics to assist patients and following safety protocols to prevent exposure to blood and bodily fluids. The position involves direct patient care, coordination with team members, documentation, and participation in quality improvement activities.
