Enterprise Data Architect

Salary: $105,000 - 123,500 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Data Management, Data Science, or an equivalent mix of education and experience; a masters degree is preferred.
• We require at least 6 years of experience in IT or a related discipline, including 5 years in information system design.
• We require 4+ years of experience in data management, data modeling, data warehousing, and emerging data integration technologies.
• We require 2+ years of experience with distributed management and analytics in cloud and hybrid environments, including hands-on work building and designing Databricks Lakehouse Architecture and Delta Lake using tools such as Erwin or SqlDBM.
• Experience with data analysis using PySpark, SQL, and Python is preferred.
• Professional training or industry certifications in PaaS cloud platforms or Databricks are preferred.
• We are looking for strong knowledge of system integration, interface design, and web-oriented architecture methods.
• We need advanced understanding of enterprise-level data modeling, information classification, and data security protocols, policies, and regulations.
• We value strong knowledge of information architecture frameworks, metamodels, taxonomies, ontologies, and the challenges of applying structured techniques to less-structured sources.
• We need familiarity with data science concepts, master data management, business intelligence, and data warehouse design and implementation.
• We expect knowledge of a range of data access and analytics approaches, such as microservices and event-driven architectures.
• We require experience with enterprise architecture modeling languages or frameworks such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, Zachman, or UML.
• We are seeking someone with strong business and technical acumen who can communicate effectively with executives, business stakeholders, and technical partners.
• We value a motivated, organized self-starter with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Teams is required.

• We partner with business and technical leaders to recommend ways to maximize the value of our data assets through creation, access, and use.
• We analyze and refine data models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency in the cloud.
• We collaborate with IT Architecture, Information Security, and Data Governance teams to define standards and policies for data lifecycle management, keying strategy, and obfuscation.
• We monitor the impact and risk of changes to our data ecosystem and work to reduce disruption from new systems, tools, and utilities.
• We provide a future-state vision of our business data landscape that reduces dependency on proprietary technologies.
• We contribute to architectural planning and help influence data architecture decisions.
• We support data, analytics, business, and IT leaders in developing governance processes and structures.
• We facilitate design sessions with business and technology stakeholders to capture business needs and requirements.
• We develop and manage data blueprints and information models, including conceptual, logical, physical, relational, dimensional, data vault, and message models.
• We proactively manage the classification and zoning of data assets from internal systems, applications, and third-party sources to improve time to value.
• We help improve business performance through enterprise information capabilities such as MDM, metadata management, analytics, content management, and data integration.
• We analyze security requirements and solutions to help protect enterprise business data and analytics assets.

The position offers an annual base salary range of $105,000 to $123,500, with additional performance-based incentive opportunities.
