Travel RN - Progressive Care Unit (PCU) - Days

Location: Thornton, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A - 7P

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel RN for our Progressive Care Unit (PCU). Join our brand new state-of-the-art unit, which offers a supportive culture focused on teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide post-operative care for patients from surgical and cath lab procedures.
• Monitor and assess the condition of patients, including those recovering from elective orthopedic, spine, and GYN surgeries.
• Manage patients undergoing elective catheter lab procedures such as PCI, pacemaker insertions, and cardioversion.
• Utilize telemetry monitoring and provide care for patients experiencing complications such as stroke or respiratory failure.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1-year current acute care hospital experience in PCU.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH.
• Preferred: Cardiac experience and prior Meditech experience.
