Registered Respiratory Therapist

Location: Asheville, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Services team. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality respiratory care to a diverse patient population. Your commitment to excellence will contribute to our ongoing goal of ensuring the safety and well-being of all patients.

Responsibilities:

Provide respiratory therapy services to adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
Utilize advanced equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, and transport vent systems.
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
Ensure adherence to safety and clinical protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

North Carolina Respiratory License
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred
