RN or LPN Med Surg Tele 4C Full Time Days

Overview Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Position Details 7a–7p rotational weekends. Shift Differentials: Weekend differential, shift differential for qualifying hours between 3 pm–7 am, weekend option days (WEO rates + weekend differential), weekend option nights (WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential), new increased weekend option differential: $10.00. Patient Population Medical cardiac population, managing chronic and acute onset diseases while balancing the need for telemetry and cardiac management. Multisystem management needs including heart failure, respiratory distress, unmanageable dysrhythmias, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes, and gastro‑intestinal conditions. Coordinate management of patients needing cath lab, angio, dialysis, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti‑coagulation therapies. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program. Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure and meet all state board of nursing requirements.
