The Inside Estimator will review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to prepare accurate material takeoffs and cost estimates for lockers and related storage products. This role will involve collaborating with sales representatives, customers, and internal teams to clarify project requirements, select appropriate product configurations, and prepare detailed quotations. The Inside Estimator will update and maintain pricing tools, quote logs, and project files, ensuring all information is complete and accurate. Daily responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, revising estimates as needed, supporting the sales process with technical information, and meeting deadlines for bids and proposals. The role also includes coordinating with production and operations teams to confirm lead times, special requirements, and feasibility of custom or modified products. Qualifications Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook) and comfort working with estimating or ERP/CRM systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, sales teams, and internal departments. High level of attention to detail, organization, and time management to handle multiple bids and deadlines simultaneously. Experience in estimating, construction, manufacturing, or a related technical sales support role is strongly preferred. Ability to learn product lines, codes, and industry standards related to lockers, storage systems, or building products. Demonstrated ability to work on-site in a team environment, take initiative, and solve problems independently when needed. Associate or bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, business, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
