The ideal candidate will have experience in applying various industrial coatings to metal surfaces, machinery, and other industrial structures. This position is in the field, working at different job sites in Arizona (may be required to travel)Key Responsibilities:Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, blasting, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of coatings.Apply industrial coatings, including primers, epoxy, urethane, and specialized finishes using spray guns, rollers, or brushes.Mix and match paints and coatings according to technical specifications and safety standards.Perform inspections to ensure quality, thickness, and uniformity of the coating.Operate and maintain spray equipment, compressors, and other tools safely and effectively.Follow all safety guidelines, including the proper handling of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).Maintain clean work areas and ensure that all tools and equipment are in good working condition.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.Qualifications:Proven experience as an industrial painter, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial setting.Proficiency in using various coating application techniques (airless spray, conventional spray, etc.).Knowledge of coating types, including epoxies, polyurethanes, and zinc-based primers.Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques and industry standards.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and coating specifications.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.Familiarity with safety standards and practices in industrial environments, including OSHA guidelines.Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods.Preferred Qualifications:Certification in industrial painting or coatings application.Experience with abrasive blasting.Forklift or other heavy equipment certificationPhysical Demands and Work Environment:Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.Potential visits to outdoor industrial sites with exposure to weather extremes.Potential exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.Travel requirements: up to 10% of time.This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.Benefits:Loenbro offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits package, and rewards to those who join our team:Medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off (PTO) and holiday payLife and disability insuranceProfessional development and training opportunitiesEmployee assistance program (EAP)Benefits eligibility may vary based on employment classification and hours worked.Guided by Core Values (LEAD), grounded in grit and a commitment to excellence, Loenbro betters our families, customers, and local communities.
