Warehouse Receiving Clerk

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Clerk to join our team. This role requires supervisory experience and computer literacy to manage incoming shipments efficiently while maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will assist with lifting, operating forklifts, and pulling orders in the warehouse. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as this skill will be beneficial in our diverse work environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the receiving process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Inspect incoming shipments for damage and verify quantities against shipping documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of received goods using computer software.
• Assist with warehouse operations, including lifting, forklift operation, and order pulling.
• Communicate effectively with team members and vendors to resolve discrepancies or issues.
• Uphold safety standards and contribute to a clean, organized warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory experience in a warehouse or receiving environment.
• Proficiency in computer systems and software for inventory management.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate a forklift.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Bilingual abilities (English and Spanish) are a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certifications or training in logistics is a bonus.
