Diesel Mechanic ApprenticeWe are seeking a motivated Diesel Mechanic Apprentice to work directly with our Lead Diesel Mechanic. This is an entry-level, hands-on position ideal for someone looking to build a career in diesel mechanics. The right candidate will be dependable, eager to learn, and able to work well in a team environment.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Lead Diesel Mechanic with daily maintenance and repairsLearn to diagnose and repair diesel engines and related systemsPerform basic maintenance on trucks, trailers, and tankersAssist with inspections and preventative maintenanceMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow all company safety procedures and guidelinesQualificationsBasic mechanical knowledge (diesel engine experience preferred but not required)Knowledge of air brake systems is a plusExperience working on trailers and tankers is a plusBasic understanding of vehicle electrical systems is a plusStrong work ethic and willingness to learnAbility to work well with others and follow directionRequirementsMust have basic mechanic hand toolsWillingness to purchase additional tools as skills developValid driver's license
