We are headquartered in Minnesota, with branch offices in Colorado, Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota.We are actively hiring **laborers** specializing in **underground dry utility** at Q3 Contracting Inc., at our Dove Valley, Colorado and Commerce City, Colorado offices. This position will require frequent travel throughout the Denver Metro Area. Q3 Contracting Inc., is a stable and rapidly growing contract construction company serving the utility distribution industry. If you are hardworking and actively or passively looking for a job with the opportunity to advance and grow with a company that takes pride in its workmanship and innovative problem solving, we encourage you to apply.**Key Responsibilities:*** Clean job sites, remove debris, backfill trenches, and tamp soil* Dig trenches and pits manually or with equipment* Assist with installation support* Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment* Signal equipment operators and participate in daily safety briefings**Preferred Qualifications:*** Working experience in construction, or the utility distribution industry preferred, but not required.* CDL is highly preferred, with endorsements.**Job Requirements:*** Driver’s license with clean driving record* Ability to drive on a stop and start basis daily and continually.* Must be dependable, willing, and able to perform physically demanding work in the elements.* Ability to lift and place materials* Possess the physical stamina and ability to stand, walk, turn, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, crouch, speak, and hear.* Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a daily and continual basis.* Close vision is required for some functions and distance, and peripheral vision is required for safety.* Must be able to pass drug-screen and background check.Q3 Contracting is a drug-free environment, and all candidates are subject to drug testing.**Compensation and Benefits:** This is a union position, which means additional benefits may be offered directly through the union.
