May precept student nurses and new hires.Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and family and provides patient and family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on patient assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize available resources. Required Work Experience: One (1) year of RN work experience Other Information: RN Fellowship Program requires one (1) year of RN independent practice not inclusive of nurse orientation.
