FOOD & BEVERAGE MANAGER

QUALIFICATIONS: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.; ASSOCIATES DEGREE OR HIGHER IN BUSINESS MANAGEMENT PREFERRED; MINIMUM 5 YEARS PREVIOUS BAR/DINING ROOM MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED; KNOWLEDGE OF FOOD, LIQUOR, WINES AND THE DAY-TO-DAY OPERATIONS OF ALL FOOD & BEVERAGE OUTLETS. DUTIES: ISSUE CORRECTIVE ACTIONS FOR POLICY AND PROCEDURE VIOLATIONS AS NEEDED, UP TO AND INCLUDING TERMINATIONS. OVERSEE AND ENSURE THE COMPLETION OF ALL ANNUAL EVALUATIONS AND REVIEWS WITH EMPLOYEES PRIOR TO THEIR ANNIVERSARY DATE. HIRE NEW STAFF AND OVERSEE/ORGANIZE TRAINING SCHEDULES. WORK CLOSELY WITH MARKETING, ENTERTAINMENT AND ALL OTHER DEPARTMENTS FOR ANY AND ALL SPECIAL EVENT FUNCTIONS THAT REQUIRE FOOD AND/OR BEVERAGE PRODUCTS. ATTEND YEARLY BUDGET MEETINGS TO ASSIST IN CONFIGURING AND FORMULATING A COMPREHENSIVE WORKING BUDGET FOR THE FOOD & BEVERAGE DEPARTMENT. SCHEDULE REGULAR STAFF MEETINGS. EMPLOYMENT SELECTION WILL BE MADE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE HANNAHVILLE INDIAN COMMUNITY'S TRIBAL EMPLOYMENT RIGHTS ORDINANCE (TERO) TITLE IV CHAPTER 3. HOURS: FULL TIME POSITION; MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ANY DAY/SHIFT, HOLIDAYS AND WEEKENDS. WAGE: SALARY BASED ON QUALIFICATIONS
