Quality Manager is responsible for multi-site quality controls to ensure adherence to Flow Systems quality standards in alignment with IAPMO, PDI, CSA and ISO standards. The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and developing quality team members across seven sites ensuring compliance to the quality standards. As a member of the Supply Chain and Operations Leadership Team, the Quality Manager will lead the organization’s efforts and foster a culture focused on pursuing zero defects, promoting the manufacturing practices and ensuring superior quality at the source. The Quality Manager is responsible to enable successful launch of new products, resolve supplier quality issues in collaboration with Supplier Quality and to partner with Ops on strategies to ensure our layers of defense are sufficiently robust to prevent quality escapes.This position requires travel that ranges from 25% up to 50% both domestic and internationally .The Quality Manager is responsible to lead Flow Systems Quality teams at the following sites: · Atlanta, Dallas and Fontana Service Centers· Erie Drains Plant· Caddo Mills Stainless Drains Plant· Harborcreek FloThru Plant· Filamat Green Turtle PlantThis position will reside in either Norcross, GA or Rockwall, TX.Key Accountabilities·Responsible for the development, implementation, management, and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory compliance in alignment with internal and external quality standards.Lead the business unit quality organization across multiple sites to ensure consistent implementation, compliance, and engagement with quality management systems.Drive quality standards throughout the organization and serve as the advocate and voice of quality through communication, training, and cross-functional engagement.Develop and execute the business unit quality strategy, objectives, and roadmap aligned with operational excellence and customer satisfaction goals.Ensure robust systems for inbound, in-process, and outbound inspections that prevent escapes and drive issues to root cause resolution.Lead customer quality initiatives, including complaint resolution, warranty reduction, corrective actions, and customer satisfaction improvement efforts.Establish and maintain an effective Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process to address internal, supplier, and customer quality issues.Partner with Engineering, Operations, Product Management, and Sourcing teams to ensure quality requirements are met for new products, product changes, and supplier qualification activities.Support new product development, value engineering, and product launch activities through APQP, PPAP, validation, and quality planning processes.Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality performance, resolve supplier quality issues, and drive supplier development initiatives.Serve as the business point of contact for third-party quality certifications and ensure audit readiness across all sites.Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits and ensure timely closure of findings and corrective actions.Champion and continuously improve integrated QMS platforms to enhance visibility, compliance, analytics, and process effectiveness.Leverage quality data, Voice of Customer (VOC), and performance metrics to drive analytics, root cause identification, and continuous improvement initiatives.Drive achievement of key quality metrics including DPMO, COPQ, customer complaints, supplier performance, warranty costs, and audit compliance.Establish and maintain quality dashboards, scorecards, and management review processes to monitor business performance and drive accountability.Ensure compliance and effectiveness of calibration, measurement systems, testing equipment, and inspection methodologies.Lead risk management activities including PFMEA, Control Plans, process capability studies, and quality planning efforts.Develop, standardize, and deploy best practices, quality processes, and inspection methods across all sites.Lead Lean Six Sigma, ZEBS, and continuous improvement initiatives focused on defect reduction, waste elimination, and process capability enhancement.Analyze current processes, develop metrics and scorecards, and implement data-driven improvements that align Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer Service objectives.Recruit, develop, coach, and mentor quality team members while building organizational capability and succession plans.Manage quality department resources, budgets, capital investments, and strategic initiatives to support business objectives.Qualifications/RequiementsBS in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering required.6+ years of proven experience implementing and managing quality systems and teams2-4 years of supplier quality experience including new supplier onboarding through the PPAP process, problem resolution in collaboration with the supplier and ensuring adherence to quality standards. International experience a plus.Experience leading a ISO 9001, QS9000, AS9100 or ISO/TS 16949 based Quality Management System (QMS) in a high-mix, assembly operation. Experience or exposure to IAPMO, NFS, and/or CSA standards a plus. Extremely strong leadership skills including presentation, project management, problem solving, multi-tasking, influencing, and verbal/written communication skills a mustDemonstrated experience analyzing data using spreadsheet applications, Microsoft Access, and/or Minitab and leveraging data to drive fact based decision making and process improvementLean and/or Six Sigma experience required.
