What You'll Do As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will support the orthodontist and clinical team in delivering high-quality orthodontic care while helping create a positive and comfortable experience for every patient. Your responsibilities will include: Assist the orthodontist during exams and orthodontic procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and orthodontic materials Place and remove arch wires, bands, and brackets as directed Take digital impressions, photos, and X-rays in compliance with safety standards Educate patients on appliance care and oral hygiene Maintain sterilization, infection control, and OSHA compliance Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management Preferred Qualifications: Current state licensure as a Dental Assistant (RDA) required Previous orthodontic assisting experience preferred; dental assisting experience will be considered Knowledge of orthodontic procedures, instruments, and appliances Strong communication and interpersonal skills Friendly, patient-focused approach to patient care What Makes You Successful: You are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing quality patient care.
