When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require, they turn to us.Job Summary: The Phlebotomist is responsible for collecting venous and capillary blood specimens from patients in a safe and accurate manner according to established lab policies and practices. Demonstrates H3W behaviors with a focus on exceptional patient experience and quality service and outcomes. The Phlebotomist is required to comply with all OSHA and regulatory requirements including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment [PPE].Qualifications:High School graduate or equivalent. Or, other experience and training that will support minimum on-the-job training to perform the above dutiesKeyboarding/data entry experienceKnowledge of venipuncture techniquesExcellent customer service skills with a professional attitudeGood keyboarding skills with ability to learn various laboratory application and HHC computer systemsContinuous improvement mindsetAbility to handle different patient population including difficult patients.
