We maintain a large and diverse community featuring extensive landscaping, lakes, pools, and recreational areas. We are seeking a dedicated Pool Deck Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. Job Summary The Pool Deck Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily cleaning and upkeep of the decks surrounding 54 pools and spas located throughout the Association. Tasks are assigned through a work order system and as designated by management. Responsibilities Sweep, hose, and power wash pool decks Remove debris, litter, and leaves from pool and spa areas Ensure pool areas are safe, clean, and visually appealing for residents Assist with setup and takedown of pool furniture as needed Inspect pool decks regularly and report any maintenance or safety issues Maintain cleaning equipment and follow all safety protocols Requirements Valid driver’s license (required) Ability to work independently Must be able to work outdoors in hot weather conditions Physically capable of lifting and carrying 50+ pounds Comfortable performing tasks on hands and knees for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor This is an outdoor position requiring physical labor and exposure to varying weather conditions, including extreme heat.
