Position Summary Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy, operating forklifts safely, organizing merchandise and supplies, providing member service, maintaining safety and cleanliness of the facility, managing inventory, assisting with club pick‑up orders, and using technology to enhance customer experience. Performs these duties while fostering a culture of belonging, teamwork, integrity, and excellence. Responsibilities Comply with company policies and implement action plans using the Open Door Policy. Operate forklifts safely, picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Complete work assignments and priorities, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations. Receive, organize, and distribute merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers, managing inventory flow and maintaining required paperwork. Provide member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, provide guidance on technology, assist with purchasing decisions, locate merchandise, resolve issues, and promote company products. Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations. Maintain the sales floor and merchandising presentation: zone areas, stock and rotate merchandise, remove damaged goods, set up displays, maintain modular integrity, and ensure prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise. Process defective merchandise in compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations and monitor shrink/security risks. Assist with club pick‑up orders, staging products, and performing occasional audits for accuracy. Handle inventory moves and displays safely, track goods, maintain in‑stock levels, and control shrinkage. Use inventory tools and equipment safely. Operate and maintain forklifts, report unsafe conditions or practices, and notify management when forklifts are not in working order. Proactively identify customers who need help, engage them with technology services, model and help others, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment and product organization. Minimum Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification and ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Pay The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $27.00, with the actual hourly rate equal to or exceeding the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour, based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
