Social Worker-Clinical

Mayo Clinic Florida is seeking a compassionate and skilled social work professional to join our team in a crisis response position. The successful candidate will have a passion for assessing and planning with patients experiencing a mental health or safety crisis. Demonstrated experience in crisis assessment, intervention, risk evaluation, and the development of effective safety plans is highly desired. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage patients and families during challenging situations. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and supporting positive outcomes for individuals in need of behavioral health intervention and support. This outpatient social work position is a member of highly skilled, professional, and supportive social work team. Responsibilities include: * Conducting diagnostic assessment, determining clinical interventions, facilitating crisis intervention and short-term psychotherapy, and provides education for patients and their families. * Communicating effectively verbally and in writing while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and external support systems. * Participating in the development and implementation of the treatment/transition plan.

Clinic. * Complying with required standards for medical/legal responsibilities and serves as a resource to other allied and administrative staff within the section of Social Work and the Department of Nursing.
