Maintenance Tech I Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 19.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:30am to 05:00pm)

• Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance repairs in apartment units.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents through repairs, cleaning, and painting.
• Complete work orders and document maintenance activities.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and building exteriors.
• Participate in on-call rotations and assist during emergency or weather-related events.

Maintenance Tech I Qualifications:

• Previous experience in apartment maintenance, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, or general maintenance required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and complete basic repairs independently.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Valid Virginia driver's license required.
• High School Diploma/GED required; vocational or trade training preferred
