Description Providence is offering up to a $5,000 hiring bonus for eligible external candidates who meet all conditions for payment — this is in addition to the fantastic benefits and compensation package offered by Providence that begin on your first day of employment The Technologist, under the direction of a Radiologist, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. This requires independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation via radiopharmaceuticals for radiologic diagnosis, whether scheduled or emergent, while providing radiation protection according to prescribed safety standards. Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree in Nuclear Medicine or equivalent education/experience. Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology or Upon hire: National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board. Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Experience with established procedures and protocols. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training Specific to the handling of FDG and operation of PET scanner. Why Join Providence?
