Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - Part-Time

Medical Hill Healthcare Center is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to join our skilled nursing team. In this role, you will provide quality nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician, helping ensure their comfort, safety, and overall well-being in a supportive healthcare environment.

Position: Part-Time
Compensation: Starting at $37-$38 per hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor, assess, and document residents' vital signs, symptoms, and overall health status.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutritional support.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough medical records in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Observe and promptly report changes in resident condition to the supervising RN or physician.
• Adhere to infection prevention protocols, safety procedures, and HIPAA regulations.
• Deliver compassionate, resident-centered care while providing emotional support to residents and their families.

Qualifications

• Current and active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
