Position Summary
The Entry-Level Powder Coat Painter supports the preparation, coating, and handling of aluminum components to meet production and quality standards. This role includes cross-training and assisting other production areas as needed. Ideal for candidates looking to start a career in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare parts for coating (cleaning, masking, hanging, staging)
- Apply powder coating following work orders and quality standards
- Inspect finished parts for coverage, color, and defects
- Operate and maintain coating equipment (training provided)
- Monitor curing process and ensure proper finish quality
- Move materials safely throughout production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety guidelines and PPE requirements
- Assist with general production tasks as needed
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; manufacturing or painting experience preferred
- Ability to learn equipment and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Forklift experience is a plus
