Clinical Research Associate - Cardiovascular (Bilingual-English/Spanish) (Remote)

Merck seeks a Clinical Research Associate to oversee cardiovascular trial sites, ensuring regulatory compliance and protocol adherence. The role involves site management, monitoring activities, relationship development, and coordination across multiple study phases, with significant travel required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary site contact and manager throughout all trial phases for assigned sites
• Conduct remote and on-site monitoring activities to ensure data accuracy and subject safety
• Perform site visits including validation, initiation, monitoring, and close-out activities
• Identify, assess, and resolve site performance, quality, and compliance issues
• Develop and expand territory by identifying and developing new clinical research sites

Requirements

• Fluent in Spanish and English, verbal and written
• Associate's degree in scientific/healthcare field plus 5+ years healthcare experience, including 2+ years site management in bio/pharma/CRO
• Or Bachelor's degree with 2+ years direct site management/monitoring experience
• Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines, clinical trial phases, and country regulations
• Demonstrated site management and patient recruitment skills
• Strong monitoring capability with independent professional judgment
• Proficiency with MS Office and clinical IT applications
