**Exciting Opportunity for SLP Speech Language Pathologist in Acute Care!** **Job Description:** - **Position:** SLP Speech Language Pathology - **Specialty:** Acute Care Hospital - **Shift:** Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30) - **Block Schedules:** No - **Experience Required:** 3 years, must be independent - **Charting System:** Preferred Epic - **Travel Experience Required:** No **Certifications Needed:** - BLS - CCC-SLP - FEES (preferred) **Skills:** - Experience with Acute Care settings - Proficient in Adult Outpatient therapy - Expertise in managing CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) and Dysphagia **Patient Age Groups:** - Adults - Geriatrics **Daily Census:** - Fluctuates with an average of 8 visits per day **Position Highlights:** - Hybrid role: Both Inpatient and Outpatient settings - Manage 1-3 adult Outpatient cases daily, with the remainder in the acute hospital - Must independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies **Schedule Details:** - **Days:** Monday to Friday - **Call Required:** No - **Weekend Coverage:** No - **Pending License Accepted:** No - **Guaranteed Hours:** Please note, the facility has the ability to call off once per two-week pay period - **Local Radius:** 50 miles preferred **Hospital Features:** - Type: Acute Care Hospital - Total Staffed Beds: 212 - **Scrub Color:** RNs: Navy blue; L&D/OR: Provided - **Charting:** Epic - **Parking:** Free parking available! **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
