Information Security Analyst vacancy in Akron USA Junior Information Security Analyst We are hiring a Junior Information Security Analyst to join our growing team in Akron. As a Junior Information Security Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company's information systems and data. This is a full-time position with salary starting at $1800 per month. Responsibilities Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests on our systems Monitor and analyze network traffic for potential security threats Investigate and respond to security incidents Develop and implement security policies and procedures Stay updated on the latest security threats and industry best practices Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Knowledge of network security protocols, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus or Qualys Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and compliance standards (e.g. PCI DSS) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Preferred Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CompTIA Security+ Previous experience in information security or IT audit Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g. Python, PowerShell) We offer competitive salary, professional development opportunities, and visa sponsorship for qualified candidates.
