Job Description

Title: Aquatics Assistant
Status: Regular Supplemental
Hourly Rate: $12.00 Description:

The Aquatics Assistant helps maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming aquatic environment by supporting daily pool operations, assisting with setup and cleanup, and monitoring attractions such as the Ninja Cross and Slide to ensure safe and appropriate use. This position provides exceptional customer service through positive, professional interactions with members and guests.

Examples of Duties

Act as a Ninja Cross and Slide attendant ensuring individuals meet use requirements and equipment is utilized safely and appropriately.
Assist with the setup, organization, and cleanup of the pool area.
Follow established safety procedures and assist staff in responding to incidents, injuries, or emergencies.
Demonstrate enthusiasm, patience, and a positive attitude while interacting with members and staff.
Communicate effectively with staff and provide excellent customer service to all patrons.
Attend all required training sessions and staff meetings.
Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Must be at least 16 years of age
Must have an Adult CPR/AED or ability to obtain within the first 60 days. Training will be provided.
Provide excellent customer service to all patrons and staff.
Attend scheduled meetings and training sessions.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Be a part of history in the City of Fishers! Opened in October 2025, the 105,000sq. ft. Fishers Community Center offers free amenities to the community including a walking track, large indoor playground, and access to Sahm’s Community Café. It also has a paid membership model that allows access to 2 indoor pools (including a 2-story waterslide), 3 athletic gyms, a large fitness floor, 2 group exercise studios, 1 cycle studio, childcare, and much more.
