JOB SUMMARY

Primary responsibilities of an Accounting Analyst is to assist the Division Controller and Asst Division Controller in analysis and support of the Midwest Division finance area.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for weekly closing of all lines of business systems- Ivend, One Market, One Cup and One Warehouse * Responsible for analyzing data to assist in correction and working on the over/shorts involved in the business * Assist with acquisitions by reviewing and managing data and training new associates * Training new associates and/or assist branches will all lines of business systems * Engage in the use of financial systems to collect and report data * Assist in month end close activities * Complete excel spreadsheet analysis as directed * Up to 15% travel related to acquisitions, training, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting preferred * 2+ years’ experience in field of general finance and/or accounting and comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general accounting functions * Advanced experience in Excel (pivot, lookups, and other advanced formulas), ability to pull data together with an eye for formatting/presentation * Strong communication (written, verbal and presentations) and interpersonal skills * Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under minimal supervision * Exposure/Knowledge of SAP preferred
