Quality Control InspectorThis position is responsible for performing the daily inspections of incoming materials to ensure the quality of the merchandise received is up to specification.Verify that product meets all requirements set forth by the specificationWrite inspection reports to capture information and submit to QC Supervisor/delegate employeeEnter Inspection reports into QC SoftwareCommunicate quality issues to QC2s and supervision so that immediate adjustments can be madeInput critical information into QC SoftwareMaintain close communication with Departmental Supervisors and assist with problem resolution via communicating essential details to QC supervisionFoster a respectful team environment that supports Workplace Values through professional communication, motivation and timely problem resolutionMaintain and actively support safety programs by immediately addressing safety issuesEnsure compliance with all department procedures and standardsCross-functional rotation with other QC/QA areasGood basic math skills (including percentages, fractions, and decimals) are requiredCompliance with company attendance standardsHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred6 months+ quality control experience preferredValid Driver's License and a good driving recordDemonstrated comprehension skills are required in order to understand general label requirements, lot code formats, procedures, diagrams, flow charts and written specifications.
