Director of NursingTampa Bay Joint & Spine is now hiring a Director of NursingTampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center was formed by a group of local surgeons to offer easily accessible outpatient care to Clearwater and the surrounding communities.The goal of any outpatient surgical visit is to provide the patient with a comfortable environment that focuses on their safety, supports the surgeon with the newest equipment, experienced staff, and results in a successful surgical outcome. Patients appreciate being able to recover in the comfort of their own home surrounded by family and friends.The Director of Nursing in our ambulatory surgery center who provides clinical management and expertise over Pre-Op, PACU GI nurses, surgical technicians and central sterile processing staff to ensure patients receive high quality, efficient care. As an Clinical Nurse Manager, you will have the opportunity for future growth and upward mobility within the organization.Requirements/Qualifications:Graduate of accredited school or professional nursing. Bachelor’s degree REQUIRED, along with work-related experience.Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in surgery.Current FL RN License.BLS, ACLS and PALS required.CNOR strongly preferred.Independent decision making skills. Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.Excellent communication skills with staff, physicians, patients, families and vendors.
