ServiceMaster Clean PositionThis position is responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing carpeted and hard floor surfaces. Duties include but are not limited to:Perform all floor cleaning and maintenance duties for facilities using ServiceMaster provided tools and proceduresDuties include: sweeping, mopping, polishing, vacuuming, shampoo carpets, stripping, waxing, buffing, cleaning tile and grout, cleaning upholstery. Moving furniture, disinfect floors with sanitizer, spot cleaning, cleaning of elevators and stairsMust achieve thorough understanding of buffing, stripping floors, waxing, and identifying different flooring types.Ability to operate various floor equipment and machineryMaintain inventory of supplies and equipment.Use proper PPE and safety equipment as requiredMust be able to use company vehicle to travel to different job sites.Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security system as required.Physical Demands and Qualifications:Constant (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, reachingMust be able to lift and/or carry up to 55lbs.Ability to differentiate between cleaning products and usesMinimum 5 years' experience as a floor tech is requiredWill provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn.The ability to be flexible and work at a fast pace in a multi-tasked job is a must.Contribute to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitudeContribute to the overall team effort including being in uniform, dependable and on timeTreat all co-workers and customers with courtesy and respectCompensation: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
