If you'd like the chance to make your mark with the world's largest equipment rental provider, come build your future with United Rentals!The Reliable Onsite Services Events Driver will travel to events across the United States, completing daily service routes in sequence as routed by ROS event personnel. Ensuring clean, reliable, and ready-to-use equipment will be the main responsibility of this position. Events Drivers will also maintain professional customer contact and open lines of communication with their Dispatcher. Weekend work will be required. May work independently with little or no supervision. Event Drivers will travel 80% of the time.What you'll do:Servicing, cleaning and stocking portable toilets, holding tanks, fresh water systems, hand wash stations and restroom-shower trailers as needed.Follow all safety guidelines and proceduresSafely operate a Route Service truck dailyVacuum pump, clean and sanitize portable restroom units on customer siteStock/replenish paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and refill water holding tanksRepair portable restroom units onsite as necessaryProvide onsite moves of equipment, and pick-up/delivery as requestedPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles, maintain truck logsLoading and unloading unitsFuel vehicles and other equipment as necessaryFrequent customer interaction, including recommendations for any additional services and supplies neededRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent1 year of truck driving experience preferred (CDL license not required), and DOT medical card must be obtained prior to commencing employmentA valid driver's license and safe driving recordBasic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving proceduresIndustry experience is a plus, but not required. Training is provided on products, services, and driver qualifications and procedures.Diligent attention to safetyExcellent verbal communication skillsTransportation will be by air or truck/vehicleAbility to mount and dismount trucks multiple times dailyAbility to frequently lift, move, push, pull, twist, and turn items up to 45 pounds, and in excess of 45 pounds with assistance, in the loading and unloading of equipmentThis position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals' policies and procedures.
