Overview Oversee consistent application of accounting policies and procedures across the properties of the organization. Maintain accounting team calendars, and task/function trackers, and orchestrate completion of requirements by the department. Responsible for corporate books of accounts, treasury related functions, bank account maintenance and process wires/cuts checks. Monitor cash management and ensure adequate internal controls. Assist the CFO in checking processing up to a certain limit. Accounting system support for the organization. Day to day support on Yardi related matters. Maintains overall GL structure and account trees in Yardi. Ensure tax compliance of the organization. Performs financial valuation studies, as needed. Respond to questions from Investor Relations group; directs inquiries to property accountants as needed. Work with the acquisition team in onboarding/sale of new properties. Team up with Acquisition team in completing capital transactions of the organization – purchase, sale, refinance.
