Senior CAD Designer

Collaborating with Mechanical Engineering teams, the full-time Senior Staff CAD Designer will design ruggedized hardware for new product initiatives, focusing on creating production-ready CAD models and intricate mechanical components in a remote work environment. Key responsibilities Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering to iterate on concepts and resolve design challenges Build and maintain master skeleton models and complex packaging layouts for electromechanical subsystems Generate 2D engineering drawing packages compliant with ASME Y14.5 GD&T standards Required qualifications AS or BS in Mechanical Design Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting/Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent vocational training 7+ years of mechanical CAD design experience in relevant fields such as robotics or industrial automation Advanced proficiency in CATIA Deep knowledge of DFM/DFA for volume fabrication processes Experience using PLM systems to manage BOMs and ECO approvals
