Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care, including but not limited to tracheostomy care, ventilator management (if applicable), catheter care, wound care, medication administration, and bowel/bladder programs. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as repositioning, transfers, and hygiene. Monitor the patient's vital signs, symptoms, and overall well-being, reporting any concerns to the healthcare team. Offer emotional support and companionship, ensuring a positive and comfortable environment. Collaborate with family members, caregivers, and medical professionals to maintain continuity of care.

Qualifications

Licensed RN or LPN in the state of Michigan. Experience in home health, private duty nursing, or long-term care preferred. Experience with tracheotomy and ventilator care (for pediatric positions). Knowledge of paraplegia-related care, including skin integrity, mobility assistance, and respiratory support, is a plus. Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

About the Role

We have immediate needs for private duty nurses (RNs or LPNs) to provide home care to pediatric patients. Our pediatric population ranges in ages from birth to 21 years of age. Weekly Pay, $28.00 - $33.00 per hour. Create Your Own Schedule: Although this specific position is a day shift, in general, we never mandate shifts, giving you the flexibility to balance work and personal life.
