Previous manufacturing or production training is beneficial.Experience Requirements At least 5 years of recent planning experience with precision stamped or machined parts in a high-volume job shop environment. Experience with metal stamping, waterjet cutting, conventional machining, milling, and lathe processes preferred. Knowledge of manufacturing methods and machine processes. Proficient with Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and planning software. Typing speed of at least 25 words per minute. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Job Duties Analyze customer drawings, specifications, quotations, and parts lists to determine manufacturing requirements. Prepare accurate and complete routers for production. Verify engineering documentation required to manufacture parts. Work with manufacturing teams to support production planning activities. Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes and workflow efficiency. Cross-train in additional departmental responsibilities as needed.Preferred Qualifications Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is preferred. Experience operating production equipment, performing quality inspections, or meeting production goals is beneficial. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement practices, or workplace safety procedures is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Planner – Aerospace Manufacturing.Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to review detailed technical drawings and documentation. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely operate around production equipment and moving machinery. Ability to maintain productivity while working in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
