Med Tech Shift SupervisorJob Type: Full-Time / Shift WorkPosition OverviewWe are seeking a reliable and proactive Med Tech Shift Supervisor to oversee shift operations within our Nursing Department under the direction of the Director of Nursing. In this role, you will lead shift caregivers, coordinate resident healthcare needs, ensure smooth daily routines, and maintain a safe, high-quality care environment for our residents.Key ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervise shift personnel, facilitate shift handoffs, and foster a supportive, team-oriented culture.Oversee response times to resident alerts, track daily/weekly/monthly vitals, and ensure ADL and shower schedules are followed.Log events using Matrix software, manage menu/dining room workflows, and re-order medications as needed.Conduct daily/monthly safety checks of the home and grounds, participating in quality improvement initiatives.Cover open floor assignments as needed and participate in shared on-call duties.QualificationsPrior experience as a Med Tech or Caregiver with supervisory/lead experience preferred.Basic computing skills and familiarity with electronic health records (experience with Matrix is a plus).Strong communication skills, attention to detail, leadership ability, and a genuine passion for senior care.Why Join Us?At NHC, we offer a culture built on excellence, trust, respect, and fun.
