Travel Registered Nurse Clinic Job

Overview
ER Registered Nurse (Emergency Department) - Clifton Springs, New York. Start date 08/03/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,795-$1,882 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12-hour rotating (Mids/Nights). Setting: hospital-based emergency department with a separate CPEP space for behavioral health.

- Floating: Yes between ED and CPEP as needed; weekend shifts every other weekend

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the ED from triage through discharge, with accurate EPIC charting and documentation.
- Manage airway and ventilator support as needed; perform airway management (including glidescope) and administer medications such as vasopressors.
- Recognize and treat acute conditions (MI/STEMI, stroke/CVA, COPD, sepsis) and respond to dysrhythmias with appropriate interventions.
- Perform procedures including IV access (central lines when needed), blood product administration, wound/trauma care, splinting, and procedural sedation; care for vented patients and post-procedural care.
- Address behavioral health crises within the separate CPEP space; collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and appropriate disposition.
- Coordinate with Respiratory Therapy, PT, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Work, Rapid Response, and interpreters to optimize patient care; adapt to floating between ED and CPEP as needed.

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand required for submission
- EPIC charting experience required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required
- Experience with charge nurse duties and community hospital setting preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and float between ED and CPEP
- Locational eligibility: candidates within 75 miles of the work location are NOT eligible; first-time travelers accepted
